Wow, I didnt commit to the whole blogging thing did I!! ha! Months and months passed woops! I have been busy though, but arnt we always busy!
Its funny how on the last blog I referred to looking at hotels in London. Well let me tell you we did take that trip to London and it was one of the best holidays of my life. (Yes, Im calling it a holiday). I went with my best friend, Laura, and I dont think I have ever laughed so much in one weekend to the point where I began to get sharp chest pains whenever anything was funny, which was all the time. The weather was amazing that weekend, and when we got there we had a picnic on st james's park and I saw a pigeon wing and felt sick. We went to Tiger Tiger on both nights, and I knew prices in London were expensive but we wernt expecting £15 each admission! Though, being daft, party-hard nothern girls we payed it anyway :P The following day we took an open top bus tour on which we both got sunburnt or more like cooked, and went to the London Dungeons. I had been before but it still scares the shit out of me. The actors there are amazing though. On the saturday night we went to watch the wizard of oz at the theatre which was also amazing. Lauras dress blew up outside though infront of a group of guys which was hilarious. After the show we hit Tiger Tiger again for round 2 and after many offers of leaving to go to a party with men old enough to be our fathers, we ended up travelling round London on them bikes with a carridge attatched to the back (sorry cant remember the name) at 5am and the poor guy was sweating afterwards! We raced another one which had some new friends that we made inside. The following day we slept in till 12, went to madam tussauds and completly forgot to check out! So, we arrived back at the hotel with an hour to spare till our train home, to find our hotel door locked and the silly woman at reception taking a year to get it unlocked for us. When we got to the station we ended up waiting at the wrong platform till 4 minutes till our train was due to leave a train person told us and we had to run to the other end of the station. We got on the train in the nick of time and collapsed on our seats. There were many funny moments on that trip but I would literally be here all night typing them up! Anyway, I inserted a picture of us sunbathing. Its always a weird feeling sunbathing in England.
Theres other news thats happened in my life, but alot of it is now irrelevant or could be spoken about in other blogs. My life is at a bit of a crossroads at the moment and Im not sure where Im headed careerwise. I'll try not to leave it another 6 months before my next post but who knows where Ill be then? :p! I wish we could take a look into the future sometimes. Now onto more shallow waters, its soon the weekend and I dont have any plans :( Im not one of these people who enjoy quiet nights in and only like going out once every blue moon. If I spend a saturday night in, I often feel like its a waste and cant help but wonder where I would be if I was out. I know Ive probably got a problem there haha. In my opinion, saturday nights were made for going out. Like the song, 'saturday night'. Im not working tomorrow which means I can take my little monster out for a run, and this blog needs a picture of him. Hes my 6 month old field spaniel called George. His name should be satan, it suits him. Literally the naughiest dog ever, but you cant be mad at that face!! Hes like my child and literally clings onto my arm with his paws when I have to go to work in the morning. I should probably wrap this up now, and put a ribbon on it. I really wanted to write out a donk on it then aha. Farewell :) xx
